All Educators at birthED are fully vaccinated. We have no way of regulating whether all students are vaccinated. You will be asked to sign a COVID-19 Liability Waiver form and will have a screening form sent the day before class to ensure non-symptomatic and reduced risks of having COVID-19 exposure in the class-room. Class size is limited to 5 couples: 10 humans plus teacher.
EDUCATION FOR REAL LIFE
Only have one day and need to get some quick childbirth education done? Maybe you took another class and feel like it just didn't quite hit the mark? Don't worry! We got you! This class is ideal for those who have already given birth or just don’t have the time to get a comprehensive class in before they give birth - it does not cover everything you need to know for your first birth.
Our owner, Liz Hochman CD(DONA), CLC, LCCE, will guide you through this workshop.
You can expect the same awesome birthED vibe in this class with evidence-based information containing the basic information needed to prepare for birth. This express class will help expectant families navigate the birth process and make informed decisions for their births.

Normal stages and phases of birth
When to go to your place of birth or call your team
Identifying early labor signs
Coping strategies for labor
Common Medications and Interventions
Informed Decision Making
Choices and Planning
* PLEASE NOTE: Postpartum and Breastfeeding + Newborn care are not covered in this class but can be added on to make a nearly complete childbirth education.*
COST: $200
COST INCLUDES: Pregnant person + birthing partner
Refunds/Cancellations: Canceling your reservation 8 or more days in advance results in a 100% refund, minus a $50 administration fee. Canceling 0-7 days in advance results in no refund, although you may transfer your registration to a future offering of the same class, if available.
**A minimum of 3 students is required to run any class. You will be notified if minimums are not reached and private classes will be offered. birthED will never leave you without education!
