Liz Hochman
As the owner and lead teacher of birthED, Liz has been heavily involved in the Twin Cities professional birth community since 2009. She has served several 1,000 families as a Lamaze educator, lactation counselor, and doula. With an intention of lifting birthing people and families up, Liz's focus is always and will always be on creating a healthy and content parentbaby dyad in order to create a thriving culture and society. Liz served several years on the board of The Childbirth Collective just concluding her term as president in 2022 . She also has spent the last several years as a board member of the Outcomes in Reproductive Health Conference. Interested in hiring Liz as your doula? In order to be committed to teaching classes she takes on a limited number of clients. Currently doula services are prioritized, but not limited to; repeat doula clients, current and past birthED students, and VBAC families. Cost for stand alone doula services:
$1800 for repeats
$2000 for new clients
*Liz does require that all doula clients take a birthED education class to prepare for their birth (past class participation for previous pregnancy counts!)
We do offer packages that include doula services, lacation services, childbirth education, and CPR classes - please inquire for pricing.
